7km Dual HV Cable Installation – Stirling
Cappers Ltd delivered 7km of dual high-voltage cable infrastructure in Stirling, supporting the connection of a major new housing development. Works were carried out primarily within the busy A91 corridor, requiring careful logistics and traffic management planning.
Our scope included:
• Full highway excavation to utility specification
• Installation of dual HV ducting systems
• Cable installation.
• Backfill and resurfacing to SROR specification
Due to the projectu2019s location, night works and weekend operations were essential to safely navigate multiple roundabouts and high-traffic areas. The scheme also included traffic control and excavation across the M9 motorway slip road u2014 completed efficiently with zero installation issues.
Highway reinstatement quality was excellent, with no major defects raised, demonstrating Cappers Ltdu2019s commitment to safe delivery, compliance, and workmanship excellence.
